Grants

We will partner with you to lift up our communities and our industry.

Who should apply?

The JetBlue Foundation provides grants to qualified non-profit organizations and qualified educational organizations in the communities where JetBlue flies. Organizations must provide or support education and/or certification in one or more of the following areas of study:

  • Aviation Technology
  • Aviation Engineering
  • Aviation Operations
  • Aviation Maintenance
  • Sustainable and Environmental Programs in Aviation
  • STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

These programs must serve one or more communities that are under-represented in Aviation including:

  • Veterans
  • Women
  • Economically disadvantaged communities
  • Under-represented ethnic groups, including but not limited to African-American, Latino or Asian-American communities

Other JetBlue Giving

The JetBlue Foundation is focused on supporting STEM and Aviation related education. To learn about JetBlue’s initiatives in the areas of youth & education, community and the environment, please visit JetBlue Corporate Social Responsibility.

While most people celebrate National Philanthropy Month in November, at JetBlue we celebrate JetBlue For Good Month! This year to celebrate we have launched a new campaign called Share Your Good.

We’re asking customers and non-profit organizations (like you!) to share photos of your GOOD - causes you’re passionate about and the simple ways you give back. Non-Profits can enter to win a grand prize in-kind contribution of Travel For Good All Year, which includes 12 pairs of Round Trip travel certificates that can be used to benefit your organization! We are also awarding five $1,000 grants to non-profits weekly! ($20,000 total).

Your volunteers, fans and partners can also win some fun prizes all month long – and they can help by nominating you to win! Please click the link or visit jetblueforgood.com. to learn more, to enter, and to find links to share on social media.

Submit a proposal!

The JetBlue Foundation seeks innovative partners. For consideration in a grant cycle, please submit a letter of inquiry/proposal using the link below. All proposals will be reviewed and select organizations will be invited to submit an expanded application for final consideration by the Board of Directors.

Proposals submitted after October 14th, 2019 will be considered for the Spring 2020 grant cycle. Only projects that fit the defined program areas listed under “Who should apply?” are eligible for grant funding.
